When are We Expected to get Notification for the SBI PO 2018?

As the recruitment notification for the posts of SBI PO 2108 has been delayed because of some reasons, many candidates are querying lot about the release of it. Delay doesn’t mean that SBI is not going to conduct SBI PO examination this year. It is definitely going to conduct SBI PO Examination 2018, as there are many vacant posts of SBI PO.

Recruitment notification of SBI PO 2018, probably be released in the month of May. Hence, those who want to apply of this, must start their preparation now.  But before the commencement of preparation process, don’t forget to check eligibility criteria of its.

Am I Eligible for SBI PO?

If you want to apply for competitive examinations then you must check its eligibility criteria in order to avoid rejection of the application. So, it is better to check eligibility criteria of SBI PO 2018.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for SBI PO Examination

Nationality
Candidate must be:
  1. A citizen of India or
  2. A subject of Nepal or
  3. A subject of Bhutan or
  4. A Tibetan refugee who came to India, before 1st Jan 1962 for permanent settlement.

The candidates who belong to b, c, & d category must have a certificate of eligibility

You must have passed your Graduation level and possess a Degree from a recognized University/College or Any Equivalent Qualification recognized as such by the central/State Government.
Those students who are in final year of Graduation can also apply but, with a condition that they must produce a proof having passed the graduation on or before 31st August 2018.
Age Limit
The minimum age of a candidate who willing to give SBI PO 2018 Examination is 21 years and maximum age is 30 years.
The age of the candidates must be between 21 years to 30 Years.

Age Relaxation
However, there are certain age exceptions given to certain communities & individuals which are as follows: -
  • SC/ST :        5 Years
  • OBC :        3 Years
  • PWD (Disable) :        10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen/ECOs :        5 Years
  • Person Domiciled in J&K :        5 Years
